Jamie grew up helping her grandparents at the bridal store and always dreamed of someday continuing the MarWin Bridal tradition. Her grandparents, Edward and Margaret Winwood, opened the original MarWin Bridal on Valentine’s Day in 1980 with a simple vision: to serve brides with excellent customer service and family values. For decades, they welcomed brides through their doors, listened to their dreams, and helped them find gowns that highlighted their unique style. The original sign that hung above their shop became a symbol of that commitment—a promise that every bride who walked through those doors would be treated with warmth, respect, and genuine care.

Jamie spent her childhood watching her grandmother comfort nervous brides and seeing her grandfather's pride in the relationships they built. When the store eventually closed after 28 years, Jamie never forgot what her grandparents had created—not just a business, but a sanctuary for brides.
